Rapid-Torc® manufactures Induction Bolt Heating Machines.
Induction Bolt Heating is a highly sophisticateded method. You can litterally cut the time by half versus elctrical rod or any other heating source.
In just few minutes, a powerfull 18 Kw Electromagnetic Field source, generated by an inductor, produces heat directly into the Bolt. An associated watercooling system and a sophisticated regulation ensure the best result and the best time for all operations.
To get the right temperature will take just few seconds and to get the right elongation will only take from 1 to 8 Minutes for bolt Studs from 2" up to 8" diameter !
The procedure is controlled by an ingenious cooling-system and an electronic monitoring of the whole (process) operation. It only takes a few minutes to heat the Bolt – The Electromagnetic field will produce heat by Joules Effect directly in the core of the metal.
